Terms of Service
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1. CasaRecord's Role
CasaRecord provides verification and trust information for owner-direct short-term rentals. CasaRecord is not a rental marketplace, booking platform, payment processor, property manager, escrow service, or party to transactions between owners, representatives, and travelers.
2. Verification
A CasaRecord verification reflects the information and evidence reviewed by CasaRecord at the time of verification. Verification does not guarantee that a transaction is safe, that a person will perform as promised, or that fraud cannot occur.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, protect your account credentials, and use CasaRecord only for lawful purposes. You may not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent verification evidence, misuse contact verification, interfere with the service, or attempt to obtain information you are not authorized to access.
4. Traveler Checks and Monitoring
Travelers should independently evaluate a rental and payment request before sending money. Monitoring and alerts are intended to provide additional information and do not replace reasonable diligence by the traveler.
5. Account Communications
By using CasaRecord features, you agree that CasaRecord may send communications necessary to provide those features, including account, verification, security, fraud, monitoring, and transaction-related notifications. Promotional communications are governed by separate communication preferences.
6. Suspension and Removal
CasaRecord may suspend, revoke, restrict, or remove records or accounts when necessary to protect users, maintain the integrity of the verification system, investigate suspected misuse, or comply with law.
7. No Guarantee
CasaRecord does not guarantee the identity, conduct, financial ability, property condition, availability, pricing, legality, or future actions of any user or rental contact.
8. Changes
CasaRecord may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes may require users to accept an updated version before continuing to use certain features.
